This project involved the complete reconstruction of a historic sunroom on a heritage home in St. Thomas, Ontario. The original sunroom had reached the end of its service life, so it was carefully rebuilt from the structure outward while preserving the architectural character of the home. Every detail was designed to respect the historic proportions and craftsmanship of the original build while upgrading the assembly with modern building practices and materials.

The new sunroom was constructed using durable, low-maintenance exterior materials including poly-ash trim profiles, allowing the historic detailing to be replicated while significantly improving long-term durability and weather resistance. Large windows restore the bright corner sunroom and reconnect the interior living space with the surrounding landscape.
